Cannock Chase Council delivers a range of services to its 90,000 residents, overseen by 41 members, led by a Chairman of the Council. Members are elected on a three year rota, with local elections being held annually. Core services of fortnightly refuse collection, housing and benefit services, as well as building control and planning are administered by Cannock Chase Council, as well has a wide range of leisure facilities, cemeteries, parks and open spaces. With the districts unique environment the council also provide a Countryside Ranger service, we even have a heard of Dexter cows to maintain our heath land and countryside! The district also has a successful Street Warden scheme, creating a community spirit with residents.
