Prince of Wales Theatre
We are open to young people in the Cannock area, aged between 11-18 with an interest in performing arts. Our aim is to provide a safe learning environment for young people who have an interest in the theatre. We produce two formal productions per year, which we perform at the Prince of Wales Centre. In September 1988, Sybil Langfield, Pat Gibson and Roger Thackham with funding from the Leisure and Amenities Department of Cannock Chase District Council, started auditions for youth theatre's first production "Smike" which was performed at the Prince of Wales Centre in February 1989.
