Kidnap plot inquiry: Seven held

Seven men have been arrested in and around Birmingham following a series of raids in connection with an alleged witness intimidation and kidnap plot.

West Midlands Police said 14 raids were carried out at homes and businesses in Moseley, Sparkhill and Balsall Heath areas. The men arrested and being questioned were all aged between 33 and 51.
